James Evans delivers highly interactive presentations in schools on his 30 years mountaineering and exploring adventures whilst at the same time building a very successful corporate career running business operations across the UK.
 
Experienced in delivering bespoke discussions and/or presentations to children
aged 7 in Primary school right through to 6th form.
 
A unique experience where children & young adults get to see and handle equipment used when mountaineering; discussions include James's trips to the Himalaya, to African & Ecuadorian volcanoes, to the Alps as well as to Antarctica.

  • Ice axe and climbing helmet

  • Climbing harnesses

  • 6000 metre mountaineering boots with crampons

  • High altitude clothing

  • Understand the Antarctic conditions, weather & daylight

  • Climbing rope & carabinas

  • Can they carry a standard trekking 12kg rucksack ?

  • Head torches & Cat 4 mountaineering sunglasses

  • Heart rate and oxygen saturation monitor

  • Genuine Everest glacier rockfall 

  • Himalayan Yak bells
